Diabetes

In addition to treatment from a primary care physician (or ob-gyn in the case of gestational diabetes), patients with diabetes may also consider seeing an endocrinologist to help manage overall health. Our endocrinologists will communicate with your PCP about any medication adjustments or changes to your care plan. Treatment is offered for:

  • Type 1 diabetes
  • Type 2 diabetes

  • Increased risk (borderline or pre-diabetes)
  • Reactive hypoglycemia

Osteoporosis

Osteoporosis affects the bones, making them brittle and susceptible to fractures. Risk of osteoporosis in women increases at the time of menopause, when estrogen production decreases.
